From Classroom to Campus OS: MTM College's Full Digital Transformation
MTM Bachelor Degree College needed to move fast. Students expected digital-first experiences. Faculty needed better tools. The institution needed a modern public presence that could compete with larger, better-resourced colleges.
The ask: transform the college's entire digital presence — not incrementally, but completely, and simultaneously.
What Was Built
Five interconnected workstreams were delivered as a single coordinated programme, running near-simultaneously over several months:
1. AI Tutor
A 24/7 student support agent grounded in the college's actual course materials and lecture content. Students can ask questions at any hour and receive answers cited directly from their own curriculum — not generic internet content. Fully bilingual, with analytics showing faculty which topics generate the most questions.
2. AI Career Compass
A personalised career guidance system that maps each student to ESCO-aligned career roadmaps tied to real courses. Students see salary milestones, a clear path at every stage, and work-style matching for realistic guidance. Progress is saved between sessions. The result: students leave the college with a concrete plan, not just a degree.
3. Distance Learning Platform
A full-featured distance learning environment built on Microsoft SharePoint — giving the college enterprise-grade infrastructure without enterprise-grade cost. Course delivery, materials, and communication in one place, accessible from anywhere.
4. Website Redesign
A complete rebuild of the college's public website — designed to hold attention, earn trust, and guide prospective students toward enquiry. Built with the same design language as the AI tools, creating a coherent digital identity across every touchpoint.
5. AI Site Chatbot
A 24/7 website assistant that answers prospective student questions, qualifies serious enquiries, and routes them to the right team member. Grounded in the college's own content and FAQs — so every answer is accurate, on-brand, and consistent.
What Made This Different
We started by asking what the college actually needed to achieve — and then designed a program of work that addressed the whole, not just the parts.
The five workstreams were not delivered sequentially. They were designed to reinforce each other: the website brings students in, the chatbot qualifies them, the platform delivers their education, the tutor supports their learning, and the career compass gives it all direction. Each piece makes the others more valuable.
The college's staff did not need to manage multiple agencies or coordinate between disconnected teams. One studio. One brief. One result.
The Outcome
MTM College now operates a fully integrated digital campus — from first website visit to graduation — with AI embedded throughout. The AI Tutor and Career Compass are live in production, used daily by students. The platform, website, and chatbot are operational.
This is what it looks like when technology is designed around what an institution actually needs — not around what happens to be technically interesting.
